The Irish Society of Gastroenterology is composed of Consultant gastroenterologists and trainees in the specialist field as well as non-medical scientists working in the area of gastrointestinal disease or associated research fields who are mostly located in, or have links with Ireland.
Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute (INDI)
The Irish Nutrition & Dietetic Institute (INDI) is the national organisation for clinical nutritionists/dietitians in Ireland. The INDI’s mission is to encourage, foster and maintain the highest possible standards in the science and practice of human nutrition and dietetics, to positively influence the nutrition status and health of the individual and the population in general.
Nutrition Society – Irish Section
Highly regarded by the scientific community, the Society is the largest learned society for nutrition in Europe. Membership is worldwide but most members live in Europe.
Membership is open to those with a genuine interest in the science of human or animal nutrition.

The vision of BAPEN is to help ensure that those suffering from malnutrition or other nutritional problems are appropriately recognised and managed.

ESPEN is dedicated to all issues relevant to the field of clinical nutrition and metabolism and promotes basic and clinical research, basic and advanced education and organization of consensus statements about clinical care and care quality control.
